This document establishes the pre-contractual information relating to contracts concluded at a distance on the website www.brickopolis.pt and https://www.bilheteiraonline.brickopolis.pt/ , referred to in article 4 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of 14 February, and all sub-domains/sub-websites.

The General Terms and Conditions presented here apply to all offers contained on this website – also referred to as the “site” or “website” – issued by PDL – Parque dos Dinossauros da Lourinhã Unipessoal Limitada, owned by PDL – Parque dos Dinossauros da Lourinhã Unipessoal Limitada. hereinafter referred to as Brickopolis, with its registered office at Rua Vale dos Dinossauros, nº 25 Abelheira, postal code 2530-059 Lourinhã, Portugal, with NIPC: 510 019 285, which is also its registration number at the Lisbon Commercial Registry Office, with share capital of €500 000.  

These General Terms and Conditions also apply to all agreements and relationships concluded between Brickopolis and any Customer placing orders through this website.

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the conditions of sale of tickets between Brickopolis and the user, via the Online Shop

Browsing this site as well as the electronic purchase of any ticket implies acceptance of these Online Shop Terms and Conditions

Brickopolis reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice, and any changes will be published on the site.

Tickets sold on this page are reserved for private individuals.

  1. Information on content

The reproduction, transfer, distribution or storage of the contents of this page without prior written authorisation granted by Brickopolis is prohibited for purposes other than strictly personal use.

Brickopolis reserves the right to modify at any time the information and commercial offer presented on: products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions and services.

It is expressly forbidden to add links to this website, regardless of the intended purpose, without prior authorisation from Brickopolis. The use of the brickopolis.pt domain and/or the ticketingonline.brickopolis.pt page for abusive purposes, and without prior authorisation, is liable to recourse to the competent legal means. In the event that you find links on other sites that allow you to access ticketingonline.brickopolis.pt, we would like to inform you that Brickopolis has no responsibility for the origin of the page or the content contained therein.

Every effort has been made to ensure that the information presented here is free of typographical errors and whenever these occur, Brickopolis will correct them as soon as possible.

All contractual information is written in Portuguese, as is the information on the items, email communications and formalisation of the sale.

  1. Obligations of Customers and Users

The Customer and User undertake to comply with and respect these Terms of Use of the Online Ticketing Service, namely:

1) To refrain from introducing, storing or disseminating through the site defamatory, obscene, insulting, xenophobic and/or any other type of content that violates the general principles of law and public order;

2) To keep, and not disclose, your password for entering the site in order to prevent third parties from accessing your account;

3) Not to use false identities;

4) To provide correct personal details and addresses so that Brickopolis can properly process the sale of tickets.

Users are therefore expressly prohibited from transmitting messages or information that are insulting, misleading, defamatory, obscene or that in any way violate the right to privacy or the intellectual or industrial property of third parties, as well as providing any information that may be harmful to third parties or to the owner of the site.

Brickopolis reserves the right to delete the account of any user who realises any of these situations.

The Customer is responsible for the veracity of the data communicated and undertakes to immediately enter any changes to it in their Registration Account.

Brickopolis accepts no responsibility for any delay or impossibility in processing ticket sales due to errors or inadequacies in the data communicated by the Customer.

  1. Ticket availability and online ticket sales

Ticket selection is carried out in real time. Accordingly, the Brickopolis server informs the Customer in real time of the availability of tickets at the time the sale is processed.

The finalisation of the purchase process implies that the Customer has read and expressly accepts these Terms of Use of the Online Ticketing Service. The data recorded by Brickopolis constitutes proof of all the transactions carried out between Brickopolis and the Customer.

After finalising your purchase, an automatic email will be sent confirming the transaction. The sale of tickets is only definitively concluded and only binds Brickopolis once the aforementioned automatic email confirming the transaction has been sent.

  1. Ticket prices

Ticket prices are indicated in euros and do not include commissions or shipping costs.

Ticket prices are set by Brickopolis and include VAT at the legal rate in force at the time.

All orders, regardless of their origin, must be paid for in euros.

  1. Payment methods

Please note that the validation of ticket sales implies that the Customer must pay the price.

When purchasing tickets on the website, the Customer may use the following payment methods:

– Visa credit card

– MasterCard credit card

– Multibanco payment reference

– Mbway

For all payments made by credit card, the card will be debited at the time of final validation of the ticket sale.

  1. Ticket delivery

The delivery conditions for tickets are specific and independent of the delivery conditions for other products sold on the site

The Customer will receive their tickets electronically (PDF document sent to their email inbox) after validation of payment and at no extra cost.

The customer must print out the electronic ticket previously sent by Brickopolis via email. Alternatively, they can show the tickets on a computerised device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Duplicate tickets are not issued, even in the event of loss, theft or robbery.

Security: printed electronic tickets have a unique barcode. The validity of tickets is checked and recorded at the entrance using a barcode reader. It is not possible for a customer to be admitted to a venue more than once with the same ticket. Reproduction of tickets is prohibited. Only the first person to present the ticket will be admitted to the premises and is presumed to be the legitimate holder of the ticket. Keep your ticket in a safe place.

Brickopolis may refuse entry to the venue when several prints, reproductions, copies or imitations of a printed electronic ticket are in circulation and the bearer of a print, reproduction, copy or imitation of the ticket has previously been granted access to the venue. Brickopolis is not obliged to check the identity of the person presenting the ticket to verify that they are indeed the purchaser of the ticket, nor is it obliged to check the authenticity of the ticket. The holder of a printed electronic ticket who is not admitted to the venue for any of the above reasons is not entitled to a refund.

The Customer must take all precautions required to maintain the confidentiality of their password and to prevent any use by unauthorised persons or any infringement.

Brickopolis accepts no responsibility for any anomalies that may arise during the sales process or the printing of the electronic tickets purchased, or in the event of loss, theft or unlawful use of the ticket purchased. The Customer will not be given any duplicate or certificate, reissue of the ticket of any kind, other than the ticket sent by e-mail for printing by the customer.

  1. Validity of Tickets

Tickets purchased are valid until 31 December of the calendar year of purchase. They can be used on any day between the date of purchase and the expiry date.

With the exception of tickets purchased in December, where the expiry date is until 31 December of the calendar year following purchase.
The expiry date will be written on the online tickets sent by email.

  1. Exchanges and returns

No exchanges or returns of purchased tickets will be made, in accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, article 17, point 1, paragraph k).

Brickopolis is not responsible for adverse weather conditions or the closure of the park in cases of force majeure. Under the applicable legal terms, cases of force majeure are those resulting from unforeseeable events whose effects occur independently of the promoter’s will, namely fires, floods, cyclones, earthquakes, other natural causes that directly prevent the park from opening, public health situations or other exceptional situations.

The purchase of tickets implies knowledge of and compliance with the park’s rules of use.

  1. Other Rights and Responsibilities

    Each registered Customer will choose a Username (e-mail) which is unique, personal and non-transferable. The password is chosen by the Customer at the time of registration and must be kept secret.

All data and content on the site, including trade marks, are the exclusive property of Brickopolis or third parties and as such are protected by law.

All the products presented on the site are described as accurately as possible. However, users should read the product descriptions carefully and, if in doubt, contact Brickopolis at geral@brickopolis.pt.

Brickopolis shall not be liable for any damage or inconvenience arising from the use of the Internet, including, for example, as a result of disruption or deficiency of the service and access, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or any case of force majeure.

Newsletters sent by e-mail are intended to publicise Brickopolis promotions and general information. The Customer will be able to receive the Newsletter as soon as they subscribe.

  1. Applicable Law

These Terms of Use for the Online Ticketing Service are subject to Portuguese law. Any conflict or divergence of interpretation of these conditions shall be submitted to the competent Portuguese court.

If the Customer is outside mainland Portugal, Brickopolis hereby informs that any legal proceedings must be referred to the Portuguese Courts.
